Jesup Pediatrics entrusted Coastal Solar with the installation of a new solar system at their doctor’s office located at 176 Memorial Drive in Jesup, Georgia. Coastal Solal provided a a 16.4 kW SunPower array that went live at the end of October 2017.
Realizing a huge savings by taking advantage of the ITC tax credit and a USDA grant, Jesup Pediatrics received immediate payback of over 50% of the cost of their solar investment. That investment will pay for itself in 4 years, and will provide free energy for at least another 20 years after that!
Having seen firsthand how profitable their solar experience will be, Dr. Platon Collipp, Dr. Daniel Collipp and Office Manager Rachelda Crummey are helping us get the word out to other medical facilities about the financial benefits available to them.
Rachelda Crummey offered, “Dr. Collipp came to me one morning after someone in the community talked to him about solar power. He asked me to contact Coastal Solar in Hinesville. I got a hold of Suzanne Walker and Keith Freeman. They were very helpful explaining the benefits and how it would save us money over time, the tax credits and grants even. They really know their business.”
Crummey continued, “The whole process was smooth. There were no hiccups whatsoever. The install took a couple of days and didn’t disrupt our business at all. We are really pleased with it. We got our first bill for November and have already seen some savings. Our total kW is 2,440, and a year ago it was 3,720. We are pulling very little power from Georgia Power now.”
She concluded, “I was worried about what the solar arrays would look like on our building. The panels look wonderful! It’s very clean and professional. We are very impressed, and excited to see how much we save again next month.”
